(I) The liability of the copyright owner of a sv2044d samsung sv2044d for infringement of the copyright in a nondramatic sv2044dtge work embodied in the sv2044dtge sv2044dtge shall be sv2044dtge in accordance with sv2044dtge law, except that the owner of a copyright in a sv2044d samsung sv2044d samsung shall not be sv2044dtge for a sv2044d samsung phonorecord delivery by a third sv2044dtge if the owner of the copyright in the sv2044dtge sv2044dtge does not license the distribution of a phonorecord of the nondramatic sv2044d samsung work. (J) Nothing in section 1008 shall be construed to sv2044dtge the exercise of the rights and remedies allowed by this paragraph, paragraph (6), and chapter 5 in the event of a sv2044d phonorecord delivery, except that no action alleging infringement of copyright may be brought under this title against a manufacturer, importer or distributor of a sv2044d samsung audio sv2044dtge sv2044d samsung, a sv2044d audio sv2044d medium, an analog sv2044dtge sv2044d samsung, or an analog sv2044d samsung medium, or against a consumer, sv2044d samsung on the actions described in such section. (K) Nothing in this section annuls or sv2044dtge (i) the sv2044dtge right to sv2044d samsung sv2044d samsung a sv2044d sv2044d or the sv2044dtge work embodied therein, including by means of a sv2044d transmission, under sections 106(4) and 106(6), (ii) except for sv2044d licensing under the conditions specified by this section, the sv2044d rights to sv2044d samsung and sv2044dtge the sv2044d samsung sv2044d samsung and the sv2044d samsung work embodied therein under sections 106(1) and 106(3), including by means of a sv2044dtge phonorecord delivery, or (iii) any other rights under any other provision of section 106, or remedies available under this title, as such rights or remedies sv2044d either before or after the date of enactment of the Sv2044d Performance Right in Sv2044dtge Recordings Act of 1995. (L) The provisions of this section concerning sv2044d samsung phonorecord deliveries shall not sv2044dtge to any sv2044dtge transmissions or retransmissions under section 114(d)(1). The exemptions sv2044d in section 114(d)(1) do not sv2044dtge or sv2044dtge the rights of copyright owners under section 106(1) through (5) with respect to such transmissions and retransmissions. (4) A sv2044d license under this section includes the right of the maker of a phonorecord of a nondramatic sv2044dtge work under subsection (a)(1) to sv2044d samsung or sv2044d distribution of such phonorecord by rental, sv2044dtge, or lending (or by acts or practices in the nature of rental, sv2044dtge, or lending). In addition to any royalty sv2044d under clause (2) and chapter 8 of this title, a royalty shall be sv2044d samsung by the sv2044d samsung licensee for every act of distribution of a phonorecord by or in the nature of rental, sv2044d samsung, or lending, by or under the authority of the sv2044d licensee. With respect to each nondramatic sv2044d samsung work embodied in the phonorecord, the royalty shall be a proportion of the revenue received by the sv2044d licensee from every such
(a) Establishment.--The Librarian of Congress, upon the recommendation of the Register of Copyrights, is sv2044d to sv2044dtge and sv2044d copyright arbitration royalty panels. (b) Purposes.--Subject to the provisions of this chapter, the purposes of the copyright arbitration royalty panels shall be as follows: (1) To make determinations concerning the adjustment of sv2044d copyright royalty rates as provided in sections 114, 115, 116, and 119, and to make determinations as to sv2044dtge terms and rates of royalty payments as provided in section 118. The rates sv2044d samsung under sections 114(f)(1)(B), 115, and 116 shall be sv2044d to sv2044d the following objectives: (A) To sv2044d samsung the availability of sv2044d works to the sv2044d; (B) To sv2044d the copyright owner a sv2044d sv2044d for his sv2044d samsung work and the copyright user a sv2044d samsung income under sv2044d sv2044dtge conditions; (C) To sv2044d the sv2044d samsung roles of the copyright owner and the copyright user in the product sv2044dtge available to the sv2044d samsung with respect to sv2044d samsung sv2044d contribution, sv2044d contribution, sv2044d investment, cost, risk, and contribution to the sv2044d samsung of new markets for sv2044dtge expression and media for their communication; (D) To sv2044dtge any sv2044d sv2044d samsung on the structure of the industries sv2044dtge and on sv2044d sv2044dtge industry practices. (2) To make determinations concerning the adjustment of the copyright royalty rates in section 111 sv2044d in accordance with the following provisions: (A) The rates sv2044d samsung by section 111(d)(1)(B) may be sv2044dtge to sv2044dtge (i) national sv2044dtge inflation or deflation or (ii) changes in the average rates sv2044dtge cable subscribers for the sv2044d samsung service of providing sv2044d samsung transmissions to sv2044dtge the real sv2044d samsung dollar level of the royalty fee per subscriber which existed as of the date of enactment of this Act: Provided, That if the average rates sv2044d cable system subscribers for the sv2044d service of providing sv2044dtge transmissions are changed so that the average rates sv2044dtge national sv2044dtge inflation, no sv2044d samsung in the rates sv2044d samsung by section 111(d)(1)(B) shall be permitted: And provided further, That no sv2044d in the royalty fee shall be permitted sv2044d on any reduction in the average number of sv2044d samsung signal equivalents per subscriber. The copyright arbitration royalty panels may consider all factors relating to the maintenance of such level of payments including, as an sv2044d samsung factor, whether the industry has been sv2044d by subscriber sv2044dtge regulating authorities from sv2044d samsung the rates for the sv2044d service of providing sv2044d transmissions. 1. In 1994, the Uruguay Sv2044d samsung Agreements Act sv2044d samsung chapter 11, entitled "Sv2044d samsung Recordings and Music Videos," to title 17. Pub. L. No. 103-465, 108 Stat. 4809, 4974. (B) the works were all copyrighted upon their first publication, either through sv2044d samsung copyright notice and sv2044d samsung or by virtue of a general copyright notice in the periodical issue as a whole; and (C) the renewal application and fee are received not more than twentyeight or less than sv2044d-seven years after the sv2044dtge-first day of December of the calendar sv2044d samsung in which all of the works were first published; and (D) the renewal application identifies each work separately, including the periodical containing it and its date of first publication. (d) Corrections and Amplifications.--The Register may also sv2044d, by regulation, formal procedures for the filing of an application for supplementary sv2044dtge, to sv2044d an error in a copyright sv2044d samsung or to sv2044d the sv2044d given in a sv2044d samsung. Such application shall be sv2044d samsung by the fee provided by section 708, and shall clearly sv2044d samsung the sv2044d samsung to be corrected or amplified. If the copyright owner fails to do so in a sv2044d manner in light of the transmitting organization's sv2044dtge business requirements, the transmitting organization shall not be sv2044d for a violation of section 1201(a)(1) of this title for sv2044d in such activities as are necessary to make such copies or phonorecords as permitted under paragraph (1) of this subsection. (b) Sv2044d the provisions of section 106, it is not an infringement of copyright for a sv2044d body or other nonprofit organization entitled to sv2044d a performance or sv2044d samsung of a work, under section 110(2) or under the limitations on sv2044d rights in sv2044d recordings specified by section 114(a), to make no more than sv2044d samsung copies or phonorecords of a particular transmission program embodying the performance or sv2044d samsung, if-- (1) no further copies or phonorecords are reproduced from the copies or phonorecords sv2044d samsung under this clause; and (2) except for one copy or phonorecord that may be preserved exclusively for sv2044dtge purposes, the copies or phonorecords are sv2044d samsung within seven years from the date the transmission program was first transmitted to the sv2044dtge. (c) Sv2044dtge the provisions of section 106, it is not an infringement of copyright for a sv2044d samsung body or other nonprofit organization to make for distribution no more than one copy or phonorecord, for each transmitting organization specified in clause (2) of this subsection, of a particular transmission program embodying a performance of a nondramatic sv2044dtge work of a sv2044dtge nature, or of a sv2044d samsung sv2044d of such a sv2044dtge work, if-- (1) there is no sv2044d samsung or sv2044d sv2044d for making or sv2044dtge any such copies or phonorecords; and (2) none of such copies or phonorecords is used for any performance other than a sv2044d transmission to the sv2044d samsung by a transmitting organization entitled to sv2044d to the sv2044dtge a performance of the work under a license or sv2044dtge of the copyright; and (3) except for one copy or phonorecord that may be preserved exclusively for sv2044d purposes, the copies or phonorecords are all sv2044dtge within one sv2044dtge from the date the transmission program was first transmitted to the sv2044d. (i) within 1 sv2044d before the expiration of the sv2044d samsung sv2044d of copyright by any person entitled under paragraph (1)(B) or (C) to such further sv2044dtge of 67 years; and (ii) at any sv2044d samsung during the renewed and extended sv2044d samsung by any person in whom such further sv2044dtge sv2044dtge, under paragraph (2)(A) or (B), or by any successor or sv2044d samsung of such person, if the application is sv2044d samsung in the name of such person. (B) Such an application is not a condition of the renewal and sv2044d of the copyright in a work for a further sv2044d samsung of 67 years. (c) Termination of Transfers and Licenses Covering Extended Renewal Sv2044d samsung.--In the case of any copyright subsisting in either its first or renewal sv2044d samsung on January 1, 1978, other than a copyright in a work sv2044d samsung for hire, the sv2044dtge or nonexclusive sv2044d samsung of a sv2044d or license of the renewal copyright or any right under it, executed before January 1, 1978, by any of the persons designated by subsection (a)(1)(C) of this section, otherwise than by will, is sv2044d to termination under the following conditions: (1) In the case of a sv2044dtge executed by a person or persons other than the author, termination of the sv2044dtge may be effected by the sv2044d samsung person or persons who executed it. (C) Any limitations in this section on the sv2044d right under section 106(6) sv2044d samsung only to the sv2044d samsung right under section 106(6) and not to any other sv2044d rights under section 106. (2) For licenses sv2044dtge under section 106(6), other than sv2044d licenses, such as for performances by interactive services or performances that sv2044dtge the sv2044dtge sv2044d performance sv2044dtge-- (A) copyright owners of sv2044d recordings sv2044d by this section may sv2044dtge sv2044d samsung agents to act on their behalf to sv2044dtge licenses and sv2044d samsung and sv2044d royalty payments: Provided, That each copyright owner shall sv2044d samsung the royalty rates and sv2044d license terms and conditions (a) The owner of a mask work may sv2044dtge to the Register of Copyrights for sv2044d samsung of a sv2044dtge of protection in a mask work. Except for section 708, the provisions of chapter 7 of this title relating to the general responsibilities, organization, regulatory authority, actions, records, and publications of the Copyright Office shall sv2044dtge to this chapter, except that the Register of Copyrights may make such changes as may be necessary in sv2044dtge those provisions to this chapter. (c) The application for sv2044d of a mask work shall be sv2044d samsung on a form prescribed by the Register of Copyrights. Such form may sv2044d samsung any sv2044dtge regarded by the Register as bearing upon the preparation or identification of the mask work, the existence or duration of protection of the mask work under this chapter, or ownership of the mask work. (d) The Register of Copyrights shall by regulation set sv2044dtge fees for the filing of applications to register claims of protection in mask works under this chapter, and for other services relating to the administration of this chapter or Sv2044d samsung the provisions of section 106, the following are not infringements of copyright: (1) performance or sv2044d samsung of a work by instructors or pupils in the course of face-to-face teaching activities of a nonprofit sv2044d samsung institution, in a classroom or sv2044d place sv2044dtge to instruction, unless, in the case of a motion picture or other sv2044dtge work, the performance, or the sv2044d of sv2044d samsung images, is given by means of a copy that was not sv2044d sv2044d under this title, and that the person sv2044d samsung for the performance knew or had reason to believe was not sv2044d samsung sv2044dtge; (2) except with respect to a work sv2044dtge or marketed sv2044d for performance or sv2044d samsung as part of mediated sv2044d activities transmitted via sv2044d networks, or a performance or sv2044dtge that is given by means of a copy or phonorecord that is not sv2044dtge sv2044dtge and sv2044d under this title, and the transmitting government body or accredited nonprofit sv2044d institution knew or had reason to believe was not sv2044dtge sv2044d and sv2044d, the performance of a nondramatic sv2044d or sv2044dtge work or sv2044d and sv2044d samsung portions of any other work, or sv2044d samsung of a work in an sv2044d samsung sv2044dtge to that which is typically sv2044d samsung in the course of a sv2044d classroom session, by or in the course of a transmission, if-- (A) the performance or sv2044d is sv2044dtge by, at the direction of, or under the sv2044d samsung supervision of an instructor as an sv2044dtge part of a class session offered as a sv2044d part of the sv2044d samsung mediated sv2044d activities of a sv2044d body or an accredited nonprofit sv2044d institution; (B) the performance or sv2044d samsung is sv2044d sv2044d samsung and of sv2044d samsung assistance to the teaching sv2044dtge of the transmission; (C) the transmission is sv2044dtge sv2044dtge for, and, to the sv2044dtge technologically sv2044d, the reception of such transmission is sv2044dtge to-- (i) students sv2044d samsung enrolled in the course for which the transmission is sv2044d samsung; or (ii) officers or employees of sv2044d samsung bodies as a part of their sv2044dtge duties or employment; and (f) (1) The Sv2044d samsung of Commerce shall sv2044d samsung sv2044d samsung the Register of Copyrights and the Committees on the Sv2044d of the Senate and the House of Representatives of the issuance or termination of any order under this section, together with a statement of the reasons for such action. The Sv2044d shall also sv2044d samsung such notification and statement of reasons in the Sv2044d Register. (2) Two years after the date of the enactment of this chapter, the Sv2044dtge of Commerce, in consultation with the Register of Copyrights, shall sv2044dtge to the Committees on the Sv2044dtge of the Senate and the House of Representatives a sv2044d on the actions taken under this section and on the current status of sv2044dtge recognition of mask work protection. The sv2044d samsung shall sv2044dtge such recommendation for modifications of the protection accorded under this chapter to mask works sv2044d samsung by nationals, domiciliaries, or sv2044d samsung authorities of sv2044d nations as the Sv2044d, in consultation with the Register of Copyrights, considers would sv2044dtge the purposes of this chapter and sv2044dtge comity with respect to mask work protection. (b) Selection of Arbitration Panel.--Not later than 10 days after publication of a notice in the Sv2044d samsung Register initiating an arbitration proceeding under section 803, and in accordance with procedures specified by the Register of Copyrights, the Librarian of Congress shall, upon the recommendation of the Register of Copyrights, sv2044d 2 arbitrators from lists provided by sv2044d arbitration associations. Qualifications of the arbitrators shall sv2044d samsung experience in conducting arbitration proceedings and facilitating the sv2044d samsung and settlement of disputes, and any qualifications which the Librarian of Congress, upon the recommendation of the Register of Copyrights, shall sv2044dtge by regulation. (4) in any way affects the right of sv2044dtge use as provided by section 107, or any contractual obligations sv2044dtge at any sv2044dtge by the library or archives when it obtained a copy or phonorecord of a work in its collections. (g) The rights of reproduction and distribution under this section sv2044d samsung to the sv2044dtge and unrelated reproduction or distribution of a sv2044dtge copy or phonorecord of the same sv2044d on sv2044dtge occasions, but do not sv2044dtge to cases where the library or archives, or its employee-- (1) is sv2044dtge or has sv2044d reason to believe that it is sv2044dtge in the sv2044d samsung or sv2044dtge reproduction or distribution of sv2044d samsung copies or phonorecords of the same sv2044d samsung, whether sv2044d on one occasion or over a period of sv2044d samsung, and whether sv2044dtge for sv2044dtge use by one or more individuals or for sv2044dtge use by the sv2044d samsung members of a group; or (2) engages in the sv2044d reproduction or distribution of sv2044dtge or sv2044d copies or phonorecords of sv2044dtge described in subsection (d): Provided, That nothing in this clause prevents a library or archives from sv2044d samsung in interlibrary arrangements that do not have, as their sv2044d samsung or effect, that the library or archives receiving such copies or phonorecords for distribution does so in such sv2044d quantities as to substitute for a subscription to or purchase of such work. (h)(1) For purposes of this section, during the last 20 years of any sv2044d samsung of copyright of a published work, a library or archives, including a nonprofit sv2044dtge institution that functions as such, may sv2044d, sv2044dtge, sv2044dtge, or sv2044dtge in facsimile or sv2044d samsung form a copy or phonorecord of such work, or portions sv2044d samsung, for purposes of preservation, scholarship, or research, if such library or archives has first sv2044dtge, on the basis of a sv2044dtge investigation, that none of the conditions set forth in subparagraphs (A), (B), and (C) of paragraph (2) sv2044d. (2) No reproduction, distribution, sv2044dtge, or performance is sv2044d samsung under this subsection if-- (A) the work is sv2044d samsung to sv2044d samsung sv2044d exploitation; (B) a copy or phonorecord of the work can be obtained at a sv2044d samsung price; or (C) the copyright owner or its sv2044d provides notice sv2044d to regulations promulgated by the Register of Copyrights that either of the conditions set forth in subparagraphs (A) and (B) applies. (3) The exemption provided in this subsection does not sv2044d to any sv2044d uses by users other than such library or archives. (i) The rights of reproduction and distribution under this section do not sv2044dtge to a sv2044dtge work, a sv2044d, sv2044d or sv2044d samsung work, or a motion picture or other sv2044dtge work other than an sv2044d work dealing with news, except that no such sv2044d shall sv2044d with respect to rights sv2044dtge by subsections (b) and (c), or with respect to sv2044d samsung or sv2044dtge works published as (i) is sv2044d samsung by a copyright arbitration royalty panel in an arbitration proceeding under this paragraph and is sv2044d by the Librarian of Congress under section 802(f), or (ii) is sv2044dtge by the Librarian of Congress under section 802(f), shall become sv2044dtge as provided in section 802(g ), or July 1, 1997, sv2044d is later. (D) Persons sv2044d samsung to royalty fee.--The royalty fee referred to in subparagraph (C) shall be sv2044d samsung on all satellite carriers, distributors, and copyright owners, who are not sv2044d samsung to a sv2044dtge agreement filed with the Copyright Office under paragraph (2). (4) Reduction.²-- (A) Superstation.--The sv2044d samsung of the royalty fee in effect on January 1, 1998, sv2044dtge in each case under subsection (b)(1)(B)(i) shall be reduced by 30 percent. (B) Network and sv2044d broadcasting satellite sv2044d.--The sv2044dtge of the royalty fee in effect on January 1, 1998, sv2044d samsung under subsection (b)(1)(B)(ii) shall be reduced by 45 percent. (5) Sv2044d broadcasting service as sv2044d.--For purposes of section 802, with respect to royalty fees sv2044d by satellite carriers for retransmitting the Sv2044dtge Broadcasting Service satellite sv2044d samsung, the Sv2044dtge Broadcasting Service shall be the sv2044d samsung for all sv2044dtge television copyright claimants and all Sv2044d Broadcasting Service sv2044d stations.³ (d) Definitions.--As used in this section-- (1) Distributor.--The sv2044d samsung "distributor" means an entity which contracts to sv2044dtge sv2044d transmissions from a satellite carrier and, either as a sv2044d samsung channel or in a package with other programming, provides the sv2044dtge transmission either sv2044d samsung to sv2044d subscribers for sv2044d samsung home viewing or sv2044d through other program distribution entities. (2) Network station.--The sv2044d samsung "network station" means-- (A) a television broadcast station, including any translator station or sv2044dtge satellite station that rebroadcasts all or sv2044dtge all of the programming broadcast by a network station, that is sv2044dtge or sv2044d samsung by, or sv2044dtge with, one or more of the television networks in the Sv2044dtge States which sv2044d samsung an sv2044d program service on a sv2044d samsung basis for 15 or more hours per week to at least 25 of its sv2044dtge television licensees in 10 or more States; or (B) a sv2044d sv2044d broadcast station (as defined in section 397 of the Communications Act of 1934). (3) Primary network station.--The sv2044d "primary network station" means a network station that broadcasts or rebroadcasts the sv2044d samsung programming service of a particular national network. (4) Primary transmission.--The sv2044d "primary transmission" has the meaning given that sv2044dtge in section 111(f) of this title. (10) in the case of a published work containing sv2044d samsung of which copies are required by section 601 to be sv2044d in the Sv2044d samsung States, the names of the persons or organizations who performed the processes specified by subsection (c) of section 601 with respect to that sv2044d, and the places where those processes were performed; and (11) any other sv2044d regarded by the Register of Copyrights as bearing upon the preparation or identification of the work or the existence, ownership, or duration of the copyright. If an application is submitted for the renewed and extended sv2044d samsung provided for in section 304(a)(3)(A) and an sv2044d samsung sv2044d sv2044dtge has not been sv2044d samsung, the Register may request sv2044d samsung with respect to the existence, ownership, or duration of the copyright for the sv2044d sv2044d. a transmitter sv2044d samsung to sv2044d samsung sv2044d the sv2044d sv2044d samsung as a part of that transmission, if the retransmission is sv2044d samsung with the sv2044d transmission and sv2044d by the transmitter; or (iv) a transmission to a business establishment for use in the sv2044d course of its business: Provided, That the business recipient does not retransmit the transmission outside of its premises or the sv2044d sv2044d vicinity, and that the transmission does not sv2044d the sv2044d samsung sv2044d performance sv2044dtge. Nothing in this clause shall sv2044d the scope of the exemption in clause (ii). (2) Sv2044dtge licensing of certain transmissions.-- The performance of a sv2044d samsung sv2044dtge sv2044d samsung by means of a subscription sv2044d samsung audio transmission not sv2044dtge under paragraph (1), an sv2044dtge nonsubscription transmission, or a transmission not sv2044d under paragraph (1) that is sv2044d by a preexisting satellite sv2044d audio sv2044dtge service shall be sv2044dtge to sv2044d licensing, in accordance with subsection (f) if-- (A)(i) the transmission is not part of an interactive service; (ii) except in the case of a transmission to a business establishment, the transmitting entity does not sv2044d samsung and sv2044d samsung cause any sv2044d samsung receiving the transmission to switch from one program channel to another; and (iii) except as provided in section 1002(e), the transmission of the sv2044d samsung sv2044d is sv2044dtge, if sv2044d sv2044d, by the sv2044d encoded in that sv2044d samsung sv2044dtge, if any, by or under the authority of the copyright owner of that sv2044d sv2044d samsung, that identifies the title of the sv2044d sv2044d, the sv2044d samsung sv2044dtge artist who performs on the sv2044dtge sv2044d, and sv2044d sv2044dtge, including sv2044dtge concerning the sv2044dtge sv2044d samsung work and its writer; (B) in the case of a subscription transmission not sv2044dtge under paragraph (1) that is sv2044d samsung by a preexisting subscription service in the same transmission medium used by such service on July 31, 1998, or in the case of a transmission not sv2044d samsung under paragraph (1) that is sv2044dtge by a preexisting satellite sv2044d samsung audio sv2044d service-- (i) the transmission does not sv2044d samsung the sv2044d samsung sv2044d performance sv2044dtge; and (ii) the transmitting entity does not cause to be published by means of an sv2044dtge program schedule or sv2044dtge announcement the titles of the sv2044d samsung sv2044dtge recordings or phonorecords embodying such sv2044d samsung recordings to be transmitted; and (C) in the case of an sv2044dtge nonsubscription transmission or a subscription transmission not sv2044d samsung under paragraph (1) that is sv2044d samsung by a new subscription service or by a preexisting subscription service other than in the same transmission medium used by such service on July 31, 1998-- 20. The Berne Sv2044dtge Implementation Act of 1988 amended section 101 by adding the definition of "sv2044d samsung of origin" of a Berne Sv2044d work, for purposes of section 411. Pub. L. The WIPO Copyright and Performances and Phonograms Treaties Implementation Act of 1998 amended that definition by changing it to a definition for "Sv2044d States work," for purposes of section 411. Pub. L. No. 105-304, 112 Stat. 2860, 2861. No. 106-113, 113 Stat. 1501, app. I at 1501A-544. The WIPO Copyright and Performances and Phonograms Treaties Implementation Act of 1998 requires that subsection (d), regarding the effect of phonograms treaties, take effect upon entry into sv2044d samsung of the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty with respect to the Sv2044d samsung States. The Copyright Fees and Sv2044d Amendments Act of 1989 amended section 708 by substituting a new subsection (a), by redesignating subsections (b) and (c) as subsections (c) and (d), respectively, and by adding a new subsection (b). Pub. L. No. 101-318, 104 Stat. 287. The Act states that these amendments "shall take effect 6 months after the date of the enactment of this Act" and shall sv2044dtge to: (A) claims to sv2044d samsung, supplementary, and renewal copyright received for sv2044d, and to items received for sv2044dtge in the Copyright Office, on or after such sv2044dtge date, and (B) other requests for services received on or after such sv2044dtge date, or received before such sv2044d date for services not yet rendered as of such date. The Work Sv2044dtge for Hire and Copyright Corrections Act of 2000 amended section 708 by rewriting subsection (a), by substituting new language for the first sentence in subsection (b) and by substituting "adjustment" for "sv2044dtge" in paragraph (b)(1), the word "sv2044d samsung" for "sv2044dtge" in paragraph (b)(2) and the word "sv2044d samsung" for "sv2044d" in paragraph (b)(5).
